Supportive housing
The Smith-Yuen Apartments is purpose-built social housing for senior citizens living with mental health issues. Built and owned by Sanford Housing Society, it contains self-contained suites for traditionally hard-to-house low income seniors.
Residents fall across a broad spectrum of independence, and the various available programs accommodate the full range of capabilities present. Supports include PHS mental health workers, chronic illness management, medication administration, financial administration, a food program, holistic therapies, entertainment and outings.
