Supportive housing
Johnson Street Community was the first PHS supportive housing operation to open in Victoria. It was created as a direct response to homelessness, opening to house the occupants of a 2015 tent city.
The building provides low-barrier housing with a wide range of supports that include PHS mental health workers accessible 24/7, home support workers, life skills sessions and two meals a day. There’s also an on-site primary care clinic.
