supportive housing
Hotel Canada provides 150 low-barrier supportive housing units with on-site support services. Residents have access to PHS mental health workers for harm reduction and life skills support, daily meals though the PHS Food Program, and home support to help maintain independence.
Originally built in 1913, this historic Single-Room Occupancy hotel has undergone extensive renovations by BC Housing, restoring the building and returning it to its original name, Hotel Canada.
PHS began operating Hotel Canada in March 2026, expanding our continuum of care and ensuring ongoing access to coordinated on-site supports for residents.
