Help share the most urgently needed everyday items with our community
PHS serves a community with an immediate need for everyday necessities, which is why we’re partnering with social enterprise Kits for a Cause.
We bring supportive housing, harm reduction and healthcare to thousands of people every day, and we’re aware of the needs of this community for items that most of us would take for granted: hygiene and personal care items, weather appropriate clothing, underwear or sleepwear.
Which is why we’re partnering with Kits for a Cause. They are a division of the Bargains Group, a Canadian company that’s been in business 30 years providing non-profits and social services with supplies at wholesale prices.
Together, we can offer different opportunities to people who help our community:
- Individuals who want to donate can buy items on our wishlist.
- Groups can purchase bulk items and arrange them at teambuilding kit packing events.
Either way you will be providing marginalized people with gifts of hope.

Find an item that will make a difference in someone’s life and click the Grant this Wish button. You’ll be taken to a typical shopping cart to complete your details.
You’ll receive a tax receipt for your donation.
Corporate/Group/Family Volunteering
The PHS Kits for a Cause program was developed to accommodate groups of all sizes. Whether you’re volunteering with friends, family or colleagues, your contribution directly impacts our community.
