Originally built in 1908, The Pennsylvania Hotel was the founding project of the PHS Community Services Society. This was the original Portland Hotel in 199l.
The Pennsylvania provides 44 units of supportive housing, 50% of which have embedded clinical support via a partnership with Vancouver’s Coastal Health Authority. Two clinical projects are located at the Pennsylvania: the Community Transitional Care Team (CTCT) and the Pennsylvania Supported Suites (PSS). Both are co-managed by PHS and Vancouver Coastal Health.
