East Van Roasters – Artisan Chocolate & Coffee

East Van Roasters (EVR) opened its doors for business in April, 2013 as Vancouver’s first bean-to-bar chocolate and coffee roaster.

EVR provides meaningful employment and job training to women living in the Rainier Hotel while creating premium organic fair-trade chocolate and coffee.

The 16 seat cafe provides training in retail sales, customer service, barista skills, food-safety and sanitation, as well as coffee and chocolate production. You can find EVR chocolates at several boutique locations throughout Vancouver and sip EVR coffee at a number of local cafes.
